{ A Nice Thing To Do...}

Just a quick little post with a couple pictures. And for those that haven't seen the pictures on Facebook.

A pretty amazing and caring girl, Tanisha, who's also a good friend of Nathan and Brock, who along with her husband Ryan did so so so much for my family and I after we lost Brock, works for the City of Idaho Falls at the very cemetery where Brock and Grandma Sato are buried. She knew that the city was bringing in some maple trees to be planted around the cemetery so she searched through them and chose a beautiful tree that would be planted along the creek right next to Brock. And I'm not sure if she made the plaque with the two little mushrooms along the sides but I just thought it was a very nice thing to do and I can't thank her enough for it.

sorry for the blurry pic

Finally the headstone has been placed where it should be. On the left it has two pieces of Brock's artwork, a skateboarding photo in the middle, along with a skateboarding poem he wrote when he was 10-years-old. My mom was able to be there when they put the headstone in the ground and she talked a little bit to the workers that were installing it, one of which was one of the artists that did everything on the headstone. He was from England and he said that everyone at the monument shop really took this headstone and the artwork to heart. That they all took their time in making it perfect and that it even meant something special to them. I'm glad they said that to my mom because to me it makes me feel like they really cared a great deal about this and knew how much it meant to us. We also found out that out of all the headstones that had to be laying down like Brock's, Brock's is the largest in the whole cemetery!
