This is a first...I have no decorations for a holiday! Seriously I have zero decorations for Valentines Day. I have plenty of ideas and supplies to make a few things just not the time to actually make them. I guess having a full time job that's 40 minutes from my house, two dogs and 3 horses to take care of, a calling in YW, and more post-funeral decisions to make will do that to ya. That and my energy level and self motivation has been really low these days but today I told myself I was going to get at least one Valentines Day project done and I did! Very happy with the results and now I want to make more. It's kind of a viscious craft cycle I live in but here ya go...
I don't really have any particular home decor style that I like best but I do tend to gravitate towards the more simple rustic type, especially in this house, so that's what I decided to go with for these LOVE blocks. And the best part, this project cost about $4.00! Now that is definitely something to love. Maybe someday when kids are in the picture I'll branch out to the more fun cutsey stuff but for now I'm really liking how things are turning out with the start of my Valentines Day decor.
