| 5-1-2015...20 weeks, 2 days |
Ladies and gentlemen we are officially half way through this pregnancy! I for one cannot believe that the halfway mark is already here. This pregnancy is flying by. Way faster than with Wyatt.
It's still amazing me how different this pregnancy has been. I have been so much more uncomfortable with this pregnancy. Baby #2 is very low. I would say at least as low as Wyatt was but for some reason I am way more uncomfortable this time. Honestly I wish I could wear one of those long, one piece maxi dresses everyday. Pretty much anything that doesn't put any pressure on my lower abdomen area. Sweats or pj's would be a good second though.
The weird saliva thing has gotten better. It's still there but not quite as bad as a few weeks ago. Most of the time it almost seems like when my allergies get bad and I haven't taken my medicine. Just more of the yucky throat stuff so I'm constantly trying to clear my throat.
With my diet it's been really similar to when I was pregnant with Wyatt. Trying to eat as healthy as possible of course. I haven't been eating as much fruit as I did with Wyatt. I probably ate at least 2 pounds of strawberries with yogurt and granola and one cataloupe per week the last 2 months with Wyatt for sure, if not sooner. I do feel like I'm eating a little bit more vegetables though. The only similar craving I'm having with this baby are those cheapo Tostinos pizzas. A new craving is once in awhile a nice big cheese burger sounds amazing. This pregnancy I've really been having to be in the mood for meat half the time. Chicken has not sounded good a lot of the time. Most mexican food is out of the question but I was kind of sick of mexican food before I found out I was pregnant. We've just eaten it way too often at work for lunch is all.
Exercise department. Well, lets just say there is no exercise department for me. I've really been trying to use my mother in law's eliptical but have been sort of failing at getting into any sort of a routine with that even. So I'm crossing my fingers I can do that soon, or at least start up a routine sometime shortly after Kendra gets married when things have settled down a bit. Hopefully : )
With the gender we were going to find out about a week before this picture was taken but my doctor said that since at this ultrasound is when they look at each organ very closely that if the tech coudn't get good enough pictures for some reason that we'd have to go back in to do another ultrasound, thus spending more time and money in order to do it. Time being something we definitely don't have considering how crazy busy this month already is so we opted to post-pone the gender ultrasound. Post coming soon!
