{ 2 years old?!?! }

Oh my sweet little Wyatt, I think I'm going to pretend that you didn't just have another birthday and are slowly, yet so quickly growing up on me. If only right? I just want you to stay little forever! Yes folks, you heard right, my sweet little boy turned 2 years-old on May 13th!!! I may still be in denial. I don't think it's quite sunk in that I offiically have a toddler. Crazy I tell ya, simply crazy!

So hard to believe how little Wyatt was and how much he's changed in just 2 short years. Time really does fly by! That is something I truly did not realize until I had Wyatt. This little face has melted my heart time and time again, made me smile when I didn't think I could, and felt such true joy I cannot begin to explain.

Wyatt's birthday was technically about 2 weeks ago but I knew there would be no way of squeezing in any kind of party considering everything else we all had going on. Kendra getting married was quite the event to organize, even with her and Ben getting married in the temple so Jordan and I decided to just wait until after they got married. Which I for one am so glad we did. I couldn't imagine trying to squeeze in even the little family BBQ that we did anytime before Kendra got married.

So yes, we just had each of our immediate families there, threw some hamburgers on the grill, some corn on the cob, watermelon, salad, and lemonade. Just a little laid back gathering is all I wanted. But of course no birthday party could be complete without some cake. A fishing cupcake to be exact!

I probably spent way too much time on these but it was actually kinda fun!

Wyatt was a little unsure of everyone singing Happy Birthday and watchig him eat his cupcake. He kept trying to just pick off the goldfish at first then of course when I put the camera away he takes a big bite of it!

He got a little more into opening presents. Even since Christmas.

He played with the trucks Grandpa Tracy and Grandma Sally got him from the time he got out of the shower to the time he went to bed.

 Obeasa got him a pretty amazing Schwinn tricycle. It's blue with little tassles on the handle bars and it even has a bell. So far that's been Wyatt's favorite part. The seat is as far to the front as it can go and his little legs are barely long enough to reach the pedals but not quite there for him to be able to actually pedal himself. When we took him out to see his tricycle he wasn't completely awake from his nap so the only thing that even remotely held his attention was the bell but we foresee him loving that tricycle once he's able to use the pedals.

Magger (ma-grrr) and Pagger (pa-grrr) (Jordan's parents) and grandma and granpda Brewster got him a Radio Flyer wagon with wooden side rails. He's already pulling his wagon around. You can tell he was much more awake after dinner because he was way more into his wagon than his tricycle before dinner.

This handsome little boy stole my heart the second he was placed into my arms and continues to keep it every day. He has such a fun, sweet, caring, silly personality. Jordan and I thank Heavenly Father every day for the wonderful blessing that Wyatt is in our lives. This boy just makes me smile so much and feel such joy. Something that truly is indescribable.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!
